Clam Camp

Yesterday was a perfect day to play at the beach and dig for clams. With buckets and shovels in tow as well as the children (someone had to carry the load)..kidding...
we made a race to the tide flats

There was lots of sand

There were big horse clams

There were sand dollars

There were lots of laughs

There were crabs

The kids found a fort made out of driftwood..

We even found a shipwreck...

And another day we realize how lucky we are to live on an Island!

Just found you through P. Dub.

Life on an Island...I am so green with envy!

So I'm curious...really curious...how large is this island, what is the population, where is it located?

Will be peeking in on you again.

How cute are these island girls??? We need some more testosterone on this island though - can we get some manly shots mixed in once in awhile? Are there any island guys out there???

I just heard about your blog from another blogger, after I posted my Useless Bay sunset pics for Skywatch Friday. I checked out your site and began to recognize places. then the fort and the old boat wreck told me you had to be on Useless Bay, too.
Check out my blogfor some familiar scenes. I will continue to look at more of yours.
